PWND is Back!
Hi Everyone,
Sorry about the reeeeeallly long absence, we needed to rework how the mag and content flow worked. As you may or may not know we have a lot of stuff on our plates at any given time and putting out a 30 page, stellar issue each month was just not do-able with our crazy first life work loads.
Sooooo....
We're back with a different perspective, fresh experiences and a whole new system. Starting in October we will be moving the magazine to blog format, which will be supplemented with weekly podcasts. The last podcast of each month/issue will be recorded live in-world and streamed live from Skype. You can come and talk to people who've been in that issue, discuss the topics we've brought up and let the grid hear what you have to say.
We will still be choosing one topic to devote the issue to each month. The blog will feature much more content than we could ever pack into one issue and October will be devoted to something extremely relevant to this shift. The Second Life Blogosphere. From Fashion Blogs to News Blogs to Vanity Blogs and everything in between, we're going to take an in-depth look at blogs, in all their forms, and question whether they may or may not be valuable to SL residents. What purpose does each type serve? Why are they started? Why do we read them or ignore them? All coming up next month in PWND.
We're extremely excited about the future of PWND and can't wait to share it with you. We're opening a new PWND Head Office, in Imogen, as well. Bear with us as we remodel the blog and get prepared for a crazy month of blogging mania.
